7.3 Godzilla – representativ Super Duty-applikasjonA piece of Ford V8 history
Ford introduced the 7.3-litre gasoline V8 in the 2020 Super Duty. Engineers deliberately chose a compact pushrod design rather than DOHC, and enthusiasts nicknamed it Godzilla.
The original Super Duty application produced 430 hp and 475 lb-ft (about 644 Nm) SAE net. It was designed primarily for heavy-duty trucks, not as a production Mustang engine.
Godzilla later attracted hot-rodders because its displacement and relatively straightforward architecture suit custom builds.

- Super Duty fra 2020 / 2020 onwards
