History and development
Carroll Shelby combined American V8 power with compact, effective chassis and a relentless interest in racing. The AC-based Cobra and streamlined Daytona Coupe made the Shelby name internationally famous.
Shelby’s collaboration with Ford created the GT350 and GT500 Mustang families. Later Shelby American programs revived the performance tradition, including the modern Super Snake.
