Why this car became a legend
In John Carpenter’s 1983 horror film Christine, a red-and-white 1958 Plymouth becomes a central character.
The screen car is based on a 1958 Plymouth, although Stephen King’s original novel describes it somewhat differently. The film introduced 1950s American automotive design to a new generation.
